Family and Children Law
Our Bournemouth team have been helping individuals, like you, every day. We have a wealth of experience in all matters relating to Child and Family matters and understand how stressful a time it can be. We advise on all aspects of family law including divorce, dissolution, children, financial issues, domestic abuse and cohabitation issues. We know that no two situations are the same, which is why our family law advice is individually tailored to match your needs.

Many people find they first require a will writing service when they make a significant purchase such as buying their first house or starting their own business; alternatively, it may be when you get married or start a family. All of our experienced lawyers can assist you with not only making your will but also lasting powers of attorney, general power of attorney advice, advance directives and care fees planning.

Applying for Probate
Our wills and probate lawyers will advise to ensure you are making the use of all available inheritance tax reliefs and exemptions and will assist you with all aspects of applying for probate, acting as an executor or administrator, intestacy, estate insolvency, setting-up and running trusts and inheritance tax advice.

Elderly or Vulnerable Clients
We have an older and vulnerable client care procedure in place and our team is conscious of the specific concerns and requirements of our elderly or vulnerable clients. Our lawyers are trained in older client care so that they are able to take into account any difficulties, both mental and physical, which can affect older and vulnerable clients and are aware of the health and social problems that people may face.

We always offer independent advice, which is in the best interests of older or vulnerable clients, respecting their dignity and regularly work with clients assisting them to manage their financial affairs, either by acting as their attorney or deputy. We can also advise friends and family members appointed as an attorney or deputy to help you in carrying out your duties or assist if you need to make an application to the Court of Protection.

About Bournemouth
Before it was founded in 1810 by Lewis Tregonwell, the area was a deserted heathland occasionally visited by fishermen and smugglers. Initially marketed as a health resort Bournemouth's growth accelerated with the arrival of the railway, and it became a town in 1870.

Modern day Bournemouth was voted the happiest place in the UK in a 2007 survey and is a tourist and regional centre for leisure, entertainment, culture and recreation. The town has two universities: Bournemouth University and Arts University Bournemouth and a Championship football club AFC Bournemouth, known as the Cherries.

Ideally served by both rail and road connections the town also boasts international travel through Bournemouth Airport with direct flights to 23 destinations in nine countries.
